SDR Seat Reviews?

I'm looking for reviews of owner that have recovered or modified there SDR seats. Plus/Negitives. Who did the work. I don't want a Corbin. I tried to get a Ktm twins seat but have had a falling out with owner of Ktm twins. So that's out.

I'v done many rides with stock seat. I do like it. But at the end of the day my rear want something in betweens hard and soft.

I bought the SDR to be more comfortable. And bought the R because I liked the look and better performance of the motor. My other bike is my 02 YZF R1. Great bike but at the end of a long day ride, my now 48 year old legs can't take that potion any more. The SDR is comfortable in the leg department but that seat got to go for the long rides.. At this point I don't know which of the two rides is better or worse. The R1's cramped legs or the sore rear from the hard SDR stock seat.

What have you done to your seat to make it better?

i got a single seat and its killing me, aparantley it was made as an aftermarket, not to sure,
but more than an hours ride i got to pull over and take pain killers,
dont no if suspension set up could be an issue but it rides very hard,
looking for any other comfortable options.

spose ime just yearning for a dual seat, if it gets too bad i can scuttle back and sit on the pillions lap
ive ordered a ktmtwins seat but it hasnt arrived yet. They said I could test it out and send it back for a refund if I wasnt happy with it. Hopefully I wont have to do that...
I have the Corbin and love it! I stick my stock seat on for the track along with a different set of plastic, (had to get a new set because of a spill) I have had two good rides (two day 800 mile and a 450 one day ride) with the Corbin and it just keeps getting better.

I did a few 400 miler's on the stock seat and it was not that bad it's the hard edges that get me the most. After getting the Corbin I now see just how bad the stock seat is. But I do like the stock seat for the track, it is easier to move around on, and I never really sit on it at the track.

Hope this helps!
I'm loving my Corbin too. It does pitch you more fwd than the stock seat, but only bothered me the first time out.
