SDR Shock in a standard SD

I've just been offered a brand new SDR shock for silly money.
Does it drop straight into the standard SD (mine's on '05) and is it a good idea?
What should I be aware of?

Yes it will bolt straight in. Stew, myself and a couple of others got one when Redline were selling off some old stock cheap a couple of years ago. It of course raises the rear by 10-15mm though.

Yeah push those forks down through the yokes as much as possible. Or get Nicholas to come up with a top yoke for us.
