this is what my tyres look like after a whole 6 months. How disappointing! I even keep it in my temp. controlled garage...

Are they cracks or mold marks? They look like like tyre mold marks to me, which is normal for most tyre manufacturers. Most of the Pirellis I get have these marks on them.

First off, let's address tyres. I live in the USA, born here, long live differences, but nobody should ever forget England spoke the language long before it was spoken here! I'm all for differences, who wants one world, one culture? But, if someone says tyres is more correct, I'll never say "not it's not!" It's about respect for elders!

OK, tyres: I've been a Pirelli fan for the last 8 years, but I just picked up a Dragon Supercorsa for my SMC, SC2 compound, and damn, ij just does not want to heat up quickly. I wondered if they changed the compound, I never had problems heating this up on the road. So now I wonder about trying a different model, or SC1 compound. I want the quickest heating tyre for the street.

Might be hijacking the thread, but it seemed to fit the general subject of lack of satisfaction of a new Pirelli tyre.
