Apply good amounts of WD40 the night before adjustment! Then next day undo small allen bolt on adjuster, grab adjuster and spring with both hands and twist the bitch! Simple

Took the Tuono to Colin at 100% as he was at Cadwell the other day.

He only checks the static sag with out me on the bike and does not do rider sag, with me on the bike? cos im not average weight.

Any ideas as to why, guess I should have asked why.

Max revalved a set of GSXR forks for me years ago. very nice. Two years after i sold the bike I was reading a thread about suspension. The rider posting mentioned trying his buddies bike.
Best set up 600 front end he'd ever been on. My old ride.
Max knows his sh!t.

can anyone take a photo or a measurement for the clearance between their exhaust pipe and their rear spring for me... as they are obviously side by side.. i have a feeling that my new rear spring is too close to my exhaust (where the ring clap is for the start of the Y piece)... my clearance is 4mm, therefore heating up the rear spring and killing any dampening that i may have

this would never have been a problem before as my lighter spring was much smaller in external diameter and probably had a good 1cm to 1.5cm clearance

ofcourse everyone may be this close too

Hey James mine is about 15 to 16mm and that is between the spring and the ring clamp.

On mine, at it's closest point the spring is 5mm from the clamp that joins the Y pipe to the headers. That's at the widest point of the clamp. Everywhere else the exhaust is (obviously) further from I've got a 170-185 spring. Is that what you needed?
