#3This is a subjective topic,as those with each set of exhausts are bound to sat theirs are the ones to have,and if you have spent £800 on the Akropovic evolution system i can see the reasoning .... but any set of cans will have a greater benefit over the stock catalyst equiped set up,the open pipe design will let the motor breath a lot easier and help with the slightly snatchy throttle responce,and prob more importantly save a great deal of weight which is stored high up at the rear....... believe me you will be shocked as to how much the standard system weighs ...... my own personal choice was down to money,as i couldnt justify the Akropvic cans as personally i dont think there is that much difference with any perforated pipe designed silencer,which most if not all are..... so i got some nearly new Leo Vinci carbon cans,and if you do a little search there are some sound clips posted of various cans.and the sd with LV's sounds glorious to my ears,so im well chuffed,add the ktm open pipe map and jobs a good un

#11Bodge.... got no shots directly rear on,this is the closest one i have,will have to take some more the gap is determined by the pipework run from the link pipe and the rear exhaust hangers,so cant see how it can be closer without some work.... although painting/removing the silver heat shield miht make it not so noticable
superdukegod...... by plastic trim do you mean the silver coloured part that sits above the standard silencers?? if so that bit is bolted to the cans and comes off the bike when you remove them.... pretty sure someone on here posted a pic hen they had managed to transfer it over to their aftermarket cans
