Sil Motor exhaust

Ok, I've done a few searches and I cant seem to find any info on this system for our bikes. As far as I'm concerned its the only decent looking thing available right now. I know one of our members from Canada is running it but that's all I can find. Does anyone else have any info on it or know who I can talk to? Thanks!!

Hey Vegas - I agree - they are good looking pipes.

If you download the catalogue on their front page it is branded Daniele-moto and Spareshack. Although the Spareshack website only shows Ducati they might be sell them as well?

Good luck.

Ok, I emailed Spareshack. Hopefully they get back to me with decent pricing. I love the look of the stock system but the bike sounds like a freakin' moped with it on there.

UPDATE: I spoke to Fast by Ferracci today. They have carried Sil Motor in the past and can get them. They're about to order a shipment next week but they're getting up to date photos of each product before ordering. Apparently they've had issues in the past with small manufacturers' products not arriving as advertised. Anyway, once they get up to date descriptions and photos, they're going to be placing a bulk order and I told them that there would be quite a few interested SD owners if the Sil Motor exhaust was readily available. I also told them that if they were to manufacture something similar to their slip-ons for the MV Augusta F4, that he would be able to sell a bunch of them.

I cant think of a cannister style that would look better on our bikes.

I saw his pics in the gallery but couldnt PM him for some reason. If anyone has his email addy, I'd love to speak with him. Either way, I'm gonna wait to hear back from Ferracci. They promised to get back with me next week about either the Sil Motor cans or the possibility of making us a new set of slip-ons. Honestly I hope they'll agree to make us a Ferracci branded system. I love the look of their cans on the MV and I'm sure they'd perform just as well as anything else on the market.

I figure I'll keep updating this thread just in case anyone else is intersted in this exhaust.
OrangeJohn and I have been emailing back and forth for the last couple of days about his Sil Motor exhaust. He loves them apparently. Not only that, but he had Leos on his bike previously and says these are definitely a step up. He bought them from a company called Eurocorsa in Canada. So I emailed Eurocorsa and they can get us the carbon Sil cans for $1135 shipped via fedex. Personally, I love the look of carbon but would rather use Ti sleeves for their durability. I just emailed Mark at Eurocorsa to see if he can get these in Ti, so we'll see what happens.

well it turns out the map I got ahold of was customed designed for a bike running the Akra full system. So it'll have to be changed quite a bit but it is already set up with two individual maps. That'll still be a better starting point than the stock setup. Rest assured when I get everything installed I'll be spending the necessary time on a dyno to get that map properly configured for the slip-ons.

still no word from Ferracci. I'll call them again today on my lunch break

What really is NOT appealing about most of the slip-ons (and even full systems), is the fitment of the cans under the body work. Horrible. The gap between the side panels & the top of the can is massive & looks cobbled together (homemade). Lookee here, Martha....

Image

Now, the stock cans are beautiful, and FIT beautifully, but no one needs a 16 ton weight for an exhaust. The Remus Hexacones look OK, but fit just right.
See? Why can't other manufacturers get it right?

Sorry, haven't had my java yet.
