silent blocks rear wheel

anyone knows how to safely remove silent blocks from rear wheel without damaging them? i tried to remove but they seem to be stuck...

There is a special tool in the owners manual but would guess its cheaper to cut them out and buy a new set

I got someone else to do it and it onl had to buy one, but they are very tightly wedged in, think Scotsduke did a how to on the best way to cut them out
