Slipper clutch, help/advice needed

#2I haven't got one but doesn't sound right to me, if the clutch lever is in it shouldn't be binding, I'm sure Ducati Pete or somebody will be along soon with a definitive answer though.

Cold it's not unusual to have some clutch drag as I'm sure you know.
