Slipper Clutch ordered

After reading through some Articals on this forum reference slipper clutchs. I weighed up the pro's and con's and decided to order one. a sigma
(www.sigmaperformance.com)

Two reasons why I made this choice

1) I have ridden twins since i passed my test 10 years ago, I have raced twins and done loads of trackdays i think i'm quite a good rider ok im bloody brilliant , but when i move into Sunday morning blast mode or chris walker race mode i still mess up the odd corner or ten where i come in way to fast bang it down the gears (as you do) and make that back wheel bounce up and down like a bitch. I'm sure one or two of you riding gods know what i mean

2) I want one so there

at the moment the SD has some sweet race cans (don't ask me what but i will find out) when i get home i'll get some photos also I have the manditory Powercommander, next on the wish list Quick shifter

cheers

Oddly so, as a riding god that i am, i never get the wheel hopping up and down on the SD, what I do get is a lovely squeal from the corsa III's .

If i were to have a slipper clutch, I would loose this glorious sound that i have become accustomed to, (but do the slippers wear out twice as fast?)

any 1st gear corners,, this is the warning..... I am comin. yelr, i need to observe this backin this SD into the corner please....

shi*t thee, who am i tryin to kid? it is the SD, not me..... without it, joe would never be in the technical section to start with, or looking at slipper clutches.

WTF are you guys doin? Hoppin and squealin?!? My tyre kicks out and I back it in... Oh wait. That explains it. I'm turning in when I do this and you guys are in panic mode...

Silly question, since this is the Technical forum... Does a slipper clutch wear out twice as fast?

Slipper clutches are awesome. My SD is the only bike without one at present. It makes it so much easier to back a bike in with the slipper. No back brake, nor manual slipping needed. Just Apply the front binders, Bang down gears, initiate turn in, dump clutch and a nice easy predictable slide ensues.
