Slow speed st-st-stutter

Hi all! Well I picked up my new SD yesterday and haven't stopped grinning since. Have managed more wheelie's in the past two days than the last 4years put together.
Great bike. Except...

When low speed riding (imagine stuck in traffic, 1st gear, 1-2k rpm, not wanting to stop and put foot down) the jerkiness of the transmission is offputting, leading to much slipping of the clutch to keep progress smooth.

Can this be cured? It's not iffy throttle action neither. And I've owned twins in the past which didn't suffer this bad.

Is this a 'new' '07 model, or a 'new to you' '05/'06 model?

baggieman and superdukegod, I am just up the road from both of you at junction 1 of the M3. Also with a titanium 06 SD.

Superdukegod I chnaged to a 16T within 200 odd miles and it was a lot better, however what you are talking about I never experienced these kind of issues.

Hopefully see you all soon

Dr F,

Is the black/titanium a North/South divide perhaps.

I'm sure you will supply a witty observation to back up your findings, possibly including the words namby and pamby
