slow turn over - HIDS the culprit?

I've been running HID for ages now and had no problems related to my battery through it.

My HID draws 35W so uses less juice than the original 55W bulb.

I'm having the same problem. my bike hasn't failed to start but the starter seems alot more sluggish after I installed the HID. I thought my battery was just getting doggy. I just pulled the fuse out of the lights, and the bike started alot faster. I think I'm going to install a toggle switch in the light circut so I can start the bike then turn on the lights.
