#5I've been running HID for ages now and had no problems related to my battery through it.
My HID draws 35W so uses less juice than the original 55W bulb.

#6I'm having the same problem. my bike hasn't failed to start but the starter seems alot more sluggish after I installed the HID. I thought my battery was just getting doggy. I just pulled the fuse out of the lights, and the bike started alot faster. I think I'm going to install a toggle switch in the light circut so I can start the bike then turn on the lights.
