Solo Seat Section: A question...

My son and I were looking at the "R" model pics; the orange frame doesn't do it for me, but the carbon bling and the solo seat hit a sweet spot. Questions:\

1) I've worn out Google, Dogpile, Yahoo, and most every other search engine looking for the solo sections, which have a part # listed on the Euro KTM site.
If anyone could point me in the direction of a supplier where I could get one, that'd be great

2) I guess this should be the first question: for R owners, how do you like this seat? And has anyone else tried this swap? I searched here, but came up empty....

youve come to the right place, Ive been all over and downunder every site out there, the seat is rock hard, its around $600.00 which i thought was ok. but if you dont want to order from across the pond you will have to wait.....not sure how long? Ide like to have one for the looks but i dont want no rock hard saddle. The R model is more than a painted frame w black parts it has 8 more HP's too, TI valves and the list goes on.

i've seen a couple swaps from another web site. Looks sweet. I wanna do that one of this days. The only part that sucks is the lack of comfort at all on the "seat" on the R version. The regular one hurt my but already last WE when I went for a 4 hour ride!! Anyway, it is only available in Europe, and they have a kit for it , I think it is about $800 for the kit.

The R seat is listed in the 2008 KTM hard parts book. Look it up online part numbers are there.
