As I mentioned in a recent thread I FOOBAR 'ed my chain on a recent ride down to the Algarve so I fiited a shiney new DID yesterday. After reading this most excellent forum last night I thought I'd inquire after a 16T sprocket today. I was pleasantly surprised that my local dealer happened to have one in stock Result
So, in removing the original 17T I then discovered that it too was landfill
Predicable ? yes....probably, so, OK, best have a new rear sprocket too then everything's sorted.
Dealer - "no, we dont have one in stock and KTM is showing..................................... 6th October as delivery date
After some ringing around I eventually found a Dealer who..
a) had one in stock and
b) did mail order (I didn't think anyone would't)
Did the wire disconnect thing too so hopefully it'll be dry tomorrow
