I went with the 41 a few months ago and really like it. With the 38 the bike felt strained at most of the speeds I run, like it had to fight the gearing. No longer a problem with the 41. I concur on the drinking oil part though. Going a lot faster than it used to because now I run it a little higher in the range. I will take the trade off (especially when I get the filler extension installed).
