You might be alone on this one SD Dan...most here that have
stabilizers have the "R" and it was factory installed and have
to deal with their share of warranty issues.
And the rest of us feel that the SD isn't the bike that needs one.
It should be a fairly easy install, just make sure you can turn both
ways and nothing gets 'locked up' would be my advice.
BTW, which one did you end up getting since there are more
and more being available?
