Gents..
I've seen some good posts here for steering dampers...Since there are varied types on the market...Which one is the best for your buck..Aside of what is the cheapest..
Opinions please...

Mike
I've got an LSL on my 06. I'm happy with it.
No experiences with other brands.

Thanks for the opinion... I was looking at those and the other issues seems to be ease of installing them without changing too many other items...Also was looking at teh GPR's and wondered about the Scotts...Seems yours is what many are installing...
a lot depends on what model you have, if you have an 05 or 06 you can fit the LSL on top of the yoke, if you have an 07 on you would need a damper that mounts under the triple in front of the radiator. not sure LSL do a kit for the later bike, they're a good damper apparently and waaaay cheaper than the WP. not sure on the GPR or scotts, they're a little bulky for my liking, but plenty seem to like them so i'm sure someone with first hand knowledge will chip in soon.

Ahhh...yet another bit I didn't include...My SD is an '08
Someone here had replied to my same post on the GPR or Scott, it seems the GPR needs to be re-built more often (blown seals) other than, that big nob is much easier to use with a gloved hand,, the Scott has more quality built into it,, doesn't blow the seals,,,, I think thats the one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
LSL fits fine on an 08 and is designed to fit above the top yoke

had no issues with mine so far
