Sudden Oil Loss Whilst Riding

Just had my 06 bike expire on me. Riding along and about 50 odd miles into ride, had a warm feeling on right shin - fortunately just coming to a halt a few seconds later at set of traffic lights. Looked down at right leg which was soaked in oil. Had sprayed all over rhs of bike from engine backwards and coating most of rhs side of rear tyre. Before cutting ignition viewed instrumernt panel and nothing untoward there. Also engine was running with no obvious problem up to point of switching off.

Bike rescued and awaiting pick up by dealer to sort out.

Anyone had similar experience and if so what was cause and fix. Fortunately bike comes with a 2 year warranty!

Lucky you didn't go arse up from the slippy tyres!!!

Sounds like an oil pipe's split or come loose. Bloody pain whatever!!
