Hello Guys,

Did find some pictures from the KTM Dealer Convention 2006 (week 27 -06)

It looks litek the 2007 SD will have radial front brakes or...

If the link dosen't work go to

then kuvagalleria
then 2006 / 13 :: KTM Dealer Convention

then chose page 5 and scroll down.

Anyone any other NEWS ???
thanks for the link!

looks like radial brakes and a bit of cosmetic mods, mirrors, front fender, headlight plastics, matte black-ish exhausts (?) and black wheels

i wonder if that new mask will help high speed wind buffering or if it's mainly cosmetic... hmmm

The fuel tank looks different (more fuel??) I wonder if it will fit the 05 SD.

from what i gather all 2007 models are officially announced at intermot in cologne

october 11th to 15th
I'm just at that stage where I think the SD is my next bike but don't want to buy one now if it's about to get a refresh - radial calipers - ummmhhhh
yeah, it seems prudent to wait for the 07's... but not for the brakes...
if they're the same radial calipers as the 950SM i didn't notice that much of a difference in stopping power
The SDs Brembos could well be the best brakes fitted as OE to any bike. The carbon tank holds 18 litres, I think.
Acording to the KTM hardware parts should the Carbon tank be +1.5 Liters larger than the standard.

But comparing the picturs of the Carbon tank and this one, it does not look like the same.
This one looks to be more pointy and wider.

I will go tomorow to the closest KTM dealer (if it doesn't rain) and ask them about it.

Did visit KTM homepaga and on Hardware it says this about the Carbon tank

Carbon tank 2006
6100701310049
TUEV certificate available . 20 liters volume and lighter than standard tank . Tank plug and fuel pump not included

Image

So my question is: is this tank 20 Liters or ???

It is the same code as in the 2006 Hardware catalog and there it states that it is approximatly 1,5 liters bigger than the standard tank.

SO WHAT IS IT ??????

Anyone with some info or help

If it is 20 liters them i might buy it but.....
Yes this one has 20 liters. The previous model carbon tank (for the 05 model) had a different shape...
