One of the benefits of dry sumping is that the oil isn't picked up from a sloshing oil pan, but from a custom made reservoir that's designed to house the oil. "All" modern racing engines are dry sumped.

I thrashed the bitch as hard as any other track bike i have ever had.... engine braking out the wazoo!
around the outside is all style and speed! btw, dry sump is best for racing... word!

My 07 handbook states somewhat that the SD is not suited to track riding. I ignored that section and my bike loves me for it!
