Hi everybody, just bought a superduke R on an 07 plate. I've only riden it 3 times so far (rubbish weather)
I was looking at the bike the other day in the shed and noticed that I could rock the steering damper forwards and backwards. Is this normal or is it loose I'm just a bit concerned that it might fall off or something as I cant even see how it is fixed to the bike (its mounted on a small bracket oppisite the radiator)
Any help appriciated
It is normal that the steering damper is 'rocking'....

It is necessary that way, because the angle between steering damper and fork/frame fixation is changing all the time.
Not sure what you mean, but I believe the damper was recalled for some. You probably should check it with your dealer to be safe.
Thanks for the swift reply, I'll check with my nearest dealer!
its normal
