Superduke ride by wire ready?

If you look at the schematics of the injection system you can see that superduke ecu actually changes the position of the secondary butterflies when you change the tps output with throttle. In theory it is possible to get rid of primary butterflies and use only secondary throttle through ecu by measuring the tps signal. What do you think about this idea?

what's the point??

yes technically... but it i think it would wreck the acoustics of the throttlebody. as when you would need remove the primary flies as they are no longer needed and just slowing flow.

you could get really tricky and remove the lower flies (primary) and the shafts, relocate where the throttle cables go(as well as the tps) (somewhere where it can be more easily tuned) as the tps only has 90deg of movement to work so it cant be that hard.

however as the set up for it is so add hoc, there will be lag, as you see when you give the bike a rev, they are slower to follow

Aprilia Shiver and LC4 690 use ride by wire, i believe that the map for ride by wire is also very different, more tps points and etc.

if i still had my flies in (and not the dvs) i would give it a try on a day that i had too much time... it is possible.... and because of the physical placement of the flies it could make it smoother (bigger volume of air before valves) and the fact the the disturbance in the air flow could (should be starting to sort itself out in the intake track as it travels through)... never know could get better performance... it is possible

My 690 Duke was bought back by KTM I didn't even had to ask. They could not fix "the stalling problem". Fly (ride) by wire can be a bitch to many things go wrong besides stalling in Idle or off throttle positions it even accelerated for short bursts with out touching the throttle once in a wile. They never figured or found out what was at fault. They change the throttle body mappings, sensors ..... I believe it had some thing to do with the shielding of the cables and which cables where next to each other in the wiring harness, leaving them at risks of getting spiked. I thing that mechanically operated butterflies are the way to go, more reliable and safer. Electric power throttle by Kehin no good, any old Bing is more reliable.
