Suspect Starter Seal

After leaving it over night i spotted a few drops on the garage floor a few days ago.

Then let out a few F&*KS when i saw this:

and this seal:


Anybody had a similar problem? was it the seal? or should i be looking elsewhere for the source?

Either way the weather has turned and i've laid her up for a week to look at the rear brake binding. All advice welcome (yes i'm going to clean it )
