I have not had the opportunity to spend any time on my 08 sdr setup as yet but I have checked and set to standard settings by the book and I have 25mm fork sag (rider on)- and 35mm shock (rider on).
I know its all subjective and depends on road/rider etc but a base setting of 25mm front seems a bit hard, suspension is setup as per standard setting in the handbook and im 15st.
Also I think it could be short of some more front end compression damping.
