Very useful for the right person with the right bike so heres a few questions -

What model SD is this and what year?

What is the riders weight and riding style?

Sorry if ive missed something but this set up info isnt alot of good without the above information to go along with it!

Sorry I can't help you out fellas, just doing a favour by posting the pic.
I've been researching into suspension quite a bit of late trying to educate myself a bit more in the black art, it would be good to maybe have a thread going for people to post up their own personal setups with details for comparison.

The preload and sag are the same thing, you only need to know the sag figure as you dial in the adjuster to that figure.

How interesting, the settings made by Phil are pretty much the same setting that Rob from Evolution Suspension dialed into my bike. The bike worked pretty well with those settings.

Some time thereafter I had the bike undialed (*snicker*) by LE during La Ducati Day which sucked so I just started messing with my suspension settings after that.

Doctypo did Dave Linderman set you up at Ducati Day?? Where do you ride, Hwy 9? redwood? mines? I have some friends I ride with in santa cruz and above mentioned roads... Have you checked out hwy 49 yet. A little far but totally worth it. This set up works great for all these roads. My friend Chris had Linderman set his hypermotard up at same la ducati day, I think his bike handles like shit now. He said he cant tell a difference. Matt

Just a heads up to let you know I tried these settings last weekend, I had set my sag previously and just used the rebound and compression settings...

Initial impressions are good so far, seems to have taken the harshness out of bumps at low speed but the front end is still responsive, If anything I find the rear a little slow on the rebound so I will maybe fiddle with it from here.

I went out for a blast on Saturday but it started pissing down so I couldn't get an idea of what its like when pressing on. Hopefully I'll get a decent ride in soon, when I do I'll post my thoughts
