I'm glad to say no for me but hopefully someone else can step in and give you some useful input. Totally random stab at it but maybe do an ECU reset?

Hi. Another stab or two:

1. could be a damaged sensor on the inside left fork
(or a loose connection of that sensor)
2. could be battery related, fully charged?
3. alternator could be faulty too
4. maybe I have no clue

oops. sorry, you said tacho not speedo. nevermind #1

Hey Joel

I had exactly the same thing on my 06. It would flicker for a while, then be fine, then turn off altogether. The period of operation/non-operation was very unpredictable, except it would always work fine within 100m of the dealer or with a dealer guy riding it!!!!!!

Eventually I tracked it down to dirty contacts in one of the connectors behind the headlight (I had checked the connectors for tightness a few times before), and put a bit of contact grease on it. Never had the problem since.
