Please, more info re Tuneboy, did you install it yourself? have a dyno centre do it for you? costs? where purchased from? is it any good? etc

Thanks

It seems the snatchyness being talked about is going from closed throttle to open. The ecu cuts the fuel when decelerating then the abrupt surge when the throttle is opened makes the bike 'jerk'. The PC3 won't fix this as it can only control the amount of fuel being delivered to the injectors, for this to happen there has to be some fuel in the first place. In other words, when the throttle is closed and the ecu stops the fuel the PC3 has no fuel to alter. The G2 works by altering the amount the throttle is opened in relation to the turn of the grip. It pulls the cable less in the initial opening and then more later on in the turn. So you don't feel the jerkyness as much because it is opening the throttle slower, geddit? it then makes up for the loss in travel by opening the throttle faster higher up the range where you want it to open fast. Clever eh?

Check out this other poll by Martins:

Although not a staggering overall number of people responded it does give an indication of problems.

Why are some bikes having this problem and others aren't???

Earlier bikes are probably worse than the '07/'08 bikes, so it's not exactly accurate, but I think the fueling is an inherent problem, and until somebody comes up with a definate fix then we will all suffer in varying degrees. The other factor seems to be what bike you've come from. If you've had a V twin prior to the SD then the problem doesn't seem to be so bad. But if you've come from IL4s, then the problem seems exagerated, just an observation.

I can tell you that my bike is a 2007 and the throttle abruptness is terrible IMHO. Now I'm not a fuel injection expert by any means but I remember back from my RC51 days that Dan Kyle was able to use a "dwell" function with the PC2 to all but eliminate the jerkiness of the RC's throttle inputs. I wanna say the correct term was dwell timing but I cant remember.
