My bike suffered horrible snatch and hunting until I sync'd
the throttle bodies.

I believe the key to jumping the clutch switch is (from the ktm950.info site)
that it prevents the ECU from cutting fuel above 5,000 rpm when you lay off the throttle.
I hope this information is correct because this will solve a two
year long problem of trying to smooth out the SD's throttle response.
