Out riding today mainly two up, drop the mrs off and go for a short bimble. On the way back come up to a tight corner fast, hard on front brakes, off throttle, pops from exhaust (stock system) all as usual. Tip into corner and on the way out open throttle and nothing , bikes idling fine so pull to side of road, clutch in, pop it into neutral and twist throttle and all's good, engage first pull away and no problems. Now I know I was getting low on fuel but no orange light. So any thoughts guys?

#2False neutral? I've had them a couple of times. Not sure why though.

#4I think I ran into that yesterday too...
666 (or anybody else), any recommendations on foam?

#5Merlin motorsport sells it, also available on eBay. Tank foam should provide results.

#6No false neutral as throttle would've spun the engine, would've just lost drive. Thought it might of been surging 666 but never experienced that on another bike, surprised with a fuel pump that would've happened! Tho have heard of it before and peeps putting foam in, is this the stuff you mean Jermo?
If so how many blocks would I need, don't want to lose even more tank capacity And is anybody else using it or had surging problems on the SD? Never had it on the 950SM.

#7You fill the tank up...hardly loses any capacity ...also stops weight transfer (fuel moving)
