Bic, that 9kg saving can only be including the oem rear cans too. There's no way the headers weigh 9kg let alone save you that much by switching to Ti.

That's prolly what you meant but it just wasn't totally clear from your post.

The full TI system I got from sdrk just arrived.

OMG it is a lovely bit of kit Very, very light and well made.

And the bore at the middle of the pipes is WIDE!!

I think that if they are turning blue then they are Titanium. Post a picture up, you'll get the definitive answer from the forum I'm sure. The other way to tell is that I think all the steel systems have the big ball junction at the bottom of the 'Y' piece. (I'm not entirely sure) But I am sure that the full Ti system does NOT have this - it's a straight slip on join with spring clips.
