It's a dry sump engine so can't be oil starvation unless the oil level was really really low.

Yeah, he wasn't flaming you, just messing around, when he said about taking the bike away he was just following the thinking of what a hooligan sensor would be used for which was the essence of the joke, he has his own way with words which you'll discover the more time you spend on here.
