I would suspecdt the fuel pump...or perhaps a poor earth somewhere..?

cjc, I had seen an old/fresh fuel pump pick-up contamination thread in here, I can go look again and give you a link if you like,

the symptom was different, the engine would die when bike was moderately stopped. worth looking at for future reference. Please keep us in the loop.

the last posts had pics and showed the debris and a fix (that I did not quite understand), the pics and description were very good,

he had posted it 2 times, 2 different fuel pump related threads, you know if you have a contaminated fuel issue this will not be covered under warranty.
Thanks Joe. I saw that post and asked my dealer to check. Hopefully they can figure it out. I will report. Perhaps a bunch of pubic hair is clogging my tank from all the times I've crushed my nuts against it landing sloppy wheelies.
