TuneECU or PCV?

Is there any real power difference between using a PCV or TuneECU?

I was going to get my bike setup on a dyno and have the secondary butterflies removed and I was recommended to have a TuneECU map made and sell the PCV on. Worked out about cost neutral.

However, I've just received a package with some bits for my bike that included a dyno printout - looks like it was already setup and from the notes the flies have been removed.

I'm now thinking there is no point in travelling to get the bike setup on TuneECU as I won't gain anything? Unless there is more power to be had? I did think that the bike might make more power than the dyno measured though

Just copy your PC5 map to Tune ECU ditch the PC5 sell it, then load the PC5 map to the SDR.

Woody ......you need air box....

122hp with pipe but without air box is good (SD =115 -116hp with pipe but without air box)

Also, with regards to tune ECU vs PCV I would say another option may be to add auto tune, tho, this option not only doesn't put money back in your pocket it will cost you a bit more. On the plus side its infinitely variable and tunable by you, since it has the brains to do it. Plus, you're half way there already.

All about what you want in the end, I suppose. I really like the idea of (automatic) individual cylinder mapping but haven't put my money where my mouth is yet ...yet

Just realised it does have the secondaries in, not the standard ones but MH oval ones. Looks like they're coming out!
