Hello, im still getting my SD ready for summer with a few niggles and i must say i have only ridden it once (love it). i previosly had a tame XV535 where i earned my NCD and that was a pig to lean on roundabouts without feeling like the rear was slipping at low speed. so now im thinking it may have been a combination of different make of front and rear tyres.
The SD has a set of Metzeler Sportec M1 tyres, front in good order and back just about if not illegal. I cant afford to buy a set so my very first option is to buy a similar rear tyre to keep the simetry happy, but if this option is not possible and i have to have a different tyre what would one suggest, is there a lot of danger on riding with different tyres, what im i to expect, and whats the best choice for road use only not track days.
