Uneven tyre wear - Front to back

I've got the "chicken strips" on my rear tyre down to about 1/8". (I like to keep a small reserve since most of my corners are blind.)

The front tyre still has it's wiskers except for the middle half of the tyre.

Is this normal ?

Thanks in advance,
Frank
Yeah with low mileage this will happen, the front tyre is only for steering, braking, and stability, you are unleashing 100odd hp on that rear all the time. This will produce way more friction than the front. I usually get two rears to one front....unless its a track day then they seem to "give up" evenly.
