This bulletin has been posted to the US dealers as well. Your dealer should be aware of this and take care of it for you under warranty. It only takes a few minutes to get your bike updated. This is NOT for bikes with the Akro map installed. Stock only
You just answered my question about Leo's and the Akra/KM map. I didn't figure it would be for them, but you never know. Much obliged.
9nine0,

it makes me just a little nervous to have you on here but I think your always watching and pretty much know what is being said on this forum.

In another way I am happy that the co. KTM has a bonafide representative here to monitor the public reaction to the product, that being said, I would like to ask you if my local dealer is able to properly service my 07 SD without the special KTM tool for loading new maps??

Great info. Thanks. Please keep us posted on updates.
like to add to my last post above, I called the uncooperative dealership that I had previously described. I talked to the parts manager and I told him that I would be interested in purchasing a akro header to put on the SD, but I would not be able to buy it untill the service dept. could load the proper map to make it run correctly.
He replied that the person in charge of that issue in the service dept. does not have the ktm special tool and has no plan to get this tool in the future??
