If you have Akras, then you really need the Akra map or run the risk of damage over the long term. If you have the stock exhaust then you can't download the Akra map. In fact, your dealer will refuse as they have had a tech bulliten telling them not to as 'it could cause the motorcycle to catch fire'! Presumably because of the extra fuel and CAT interface = not good The Akra map will disable the 2nd/3rd gear sensor, if not, do it manually.

trackadict is right, how are you gonna load any map without PC3/tuneboy/remus or whatever? power restriction, i believe is achieved through ignition timing retard, PC3 will not help - need AK map from the dealer, tuneboy or manual disable (cut the cables); as for EU map, - what EU map? the PC one? they are quite different, mostly due to differences in fuel grade. PC does not reccoment using UE map on NA bike and vice-versa.

The basic EURO map is just a standard USA map but without the EVAP system written into it. There is also a EURO restricted map for countries with HP limits.

9nine0, is that the only difference? i've contacted both DynoJet and LeoVince regarding maps - PC has Leo maps for Euro, but not for NA. i wanted to use M925-506, but was told by both to use M925-003 instead...
