Valve Adjustment Question

OK... so I'm working on my valve adjustment but have a question.

When checking valve clearances with feeler gauges do you look for whatever feeler gauge you can MAKE slide in or whatever feeler gauge goes in naturally?

There are a few that I can get in with a bit of force but doesn't really feel easy and are tough to get back out. Does it count because it went in (I'm not pushing really raelly hard just using some force) or should I just count the ones that go in easy/naturally?

you want it to be a fairly snug fit and by that I mean the feeler gauge will feel a little tight but not so tight that it feels like your just pushing the bucket down

Checking valve clearance is really a learned feel and hard to describe, but you should be able to insert the feeler gauge with slight pressure ( and maybe little wiggle ) The true measure of the clearance is on the pull. The gauge should come smoothly with a light draw. Lacking the "feel" you can always use a Go/No Go gauge.
