#3Do you mean the two Intake Trumpets ?
I would say they should fitted, if they are missing is the air filter been bypassed explaining the "dirty valves"

#10Yeah the trumpets hold the air filter down so it's gonna suck it upwards and create a gap for dirty air to get in.
If you bought it new you should definitely be kicking their ass about it.
