Just put my new FMF carbon apex on. Holy shit !! Talk about LOUD. First time I've had to wear ear plugs on a bike. I love 'em, but around here a real cop magnet.

Any ideas for toning them down. Just a wee bit. Just to take the sharpness out of them.

Can those little baffle cone thingies be put in backwards. If so, maybe this is whats going on.

yeah they can be turned around... makes them almost bearable
