Waterless Coolant

Anyone running waterless coolant.
Not used it myself but from what I read it has exceptional qualities over water based coolants with higher boiling point, no corrosion issues and you don`t need to replace it.

Evans is what the 4x4 guys around here like. ( http://www.evanscoolants.co.uk/ )

To me in Portugal with a mild to warm climate I think it's an overkill. And in an old 4x4 ( like my LR Discovery ) could be more of a trouble not to mix water in case a coolant problem occurs.

You have to run a water absorption liquid and then fill up with Evans....and in a car that's a lot's of liters ( less of a problem in a bike, cross specially ).

But it seems it works and lowers engine temps...if you have these problems it may be worth it to give it a try.

I use Nalco Alfloc 3443, why?
It comes in 1000lt IBC at work for our Caterpillar compressor engines and is good for 4 years or 12000 hours.
Oh and it's REALLLY cheap.

Liquid Intelligence waterless coolant.Have used it for at lest 50,000 kms.Never have to replace it.Can undo the radiator cap when motor is hot because there is no pressure.Water pump last longer because there
is no corrosion.A lot higher boiling point.I have had a leak from my radiator in the past and the reservoir was empty and the radiator level was on the low side but the temp gauge remained normal and managed to ride the bike home with no problems.Cheers
