....8 hours and a new spare battery later you mean
Mate I know how you feel, I went out to the bike today at 15:45, the mrs had sent the nipper out with me.

I put the littlun on the seat and jumped precariously on given the limited space in my shed, could just about fit my kneeslider down the gap, so I puts the key in and guess what......started right on the button.

Rode it out the shed and up the two steps on to my patio, first time I've had the guts to do it with the boy on board, he seemed to love it.

And then disaster struck, my tyres needed pumping up, that's 10 minutes I'm never gonna get back, so I feel your pain dude, I really do, I reckon it must have been at least 1 degree colder by the time I left for a nice if not chilly first ride of the year.
yeah , well tomorrow is another day....got a spare battery, and both the SDR and the DD both use YTZ14S batteries..so it aint going to waste, considering my DD eats em, its on its 4th already in 8 months and the current Mrs Loom is my 3rd marriage!!!...Italian electrics...pah....plus it will teach me not to buy a cheapo halfords battery charger...i reckon my dog in a tread mill would have done a better job...and yep i have a dog now..a puppy scottish terrier called Hamish...fook i wish i could put a nappy on the filthy bastard!!!
My kraut-burner fired up on the first crank after the winter... didn't pull the battery or trickle charge it or anything.
