In the bin is the best place mate

It fits in the headlight mask easily on the early bikes, if i remember rightly, as you stand looking at the front of the bike and drop the mask down, my PC was to the right of the headlight and fitted just nicely down the side!

I routed the cable to the left of the headstock (again facing the bike) down the side of the airbox, grey connectors plugged in the take the ground wire to the earth closest to the grey connector (i think its the started motor earth?)

Fits in the head light mask easily even on the later models

I know that folks think they are old hat but having fitted my PC3 a whle back cannot be bothered to now go down the Tune ECU route - also my local dyno only had experience with PC3 and so it made getting a custom map made a lot easier

On ebay......I have to wonder why you bought a PCIII when TuneECU is free and better?? All you need is a £16 cable that if you didn't want to buy several of us could have lent you. Mine went on ebay 2 weeks ago.

you can still get a custom map from a dynojet dyno... that is the beauty of tuneECU, it intergrates PC3 maps.
But if you really want one... and you have a motobox. There is alot of room under the tank... i reckon that you could use that insane 3M velcro and attach it to the back of the standard ecu (sits obove cylinder no.2 (front)).

I like my PC111! It has served me well and a lot of dyno places are familiar with it.

Mine fitted ecactly into a space that seemed designed for it under the seat, just next to the fuse box behind the tank, you don't have to put it with the tool kit etc. at the back. There's a space just perfect where it fits, (on the '07 model anyway). I'll post a picture if you want.

I'll try to go take one tomorrow. Seriously, it fits perfect right at the front section and the quick-shifter digital display fits there too. You don't want to fit it under the headlight because it makes it a bigger job for the remapping when you go get it dyno'd.
