Hi all, the front chin fairing (around the battery) on my brand new SD (1.4.08.) was faulty from new and needed replacing, which my local dealer ordered, however the one delivered had the 990 decal to the rear half of the fairing, the same as pre-07 SD and present SD-R, whereas on my original it was to the front as is all 07 and 08 SD’s, he returned this and reordered a new one. This too came back exactly the same as the first, as a result of further investigation he believes that this is the only part nº 6100802014446A now available. I want to keep the bike totally original can anyone shed some light.
