So, haven't used the bike for a week or so due to a short holiday break so I thought I'd chuck the optimate on for a short while to give it a boost. I installed a few years back an optimate lead onto the battery, so plugging in was no problem. Except that none of the LED indicators (other than the 'power ON') came on.
Plugging into either of my other bikes and everything works as planned.
If I play with the power switch to the optimate I can get it so the 'desulfate' or whatever LED comes on, but it stays like that. Turn OFF/ON again and zippo.
Before I go to the hassle of replacing the lead (ie the 1hr job cursing the KTM twat who put the battery where it is) is there anything else I ought to worry about or check?
