I started off like that with an old Transalp a few years ago to run in the winter instead of the trusty Blackbird (which I still have), then progressed onto a Tiger but I also like running them in the summer and I never really enjoyed them all year round. As the winters are more wet than cold now the Tiger just wasn't exciting enough so hence the reason I got the SD. Now I'm going to use her all year round and thats why I got the R&G's fitted (mind you I have only fell off twice in over 20 years and that was due to black ice) also cos I read the SD 'crashed well' !!

Not that I was tempting fate !!!

Try the bridgestones havent had them on my ktm but loved them on my old bmw never one slip in 2 years driving and about 30k miles I had the battalax not sure what the current touring tyres are also I hear the avon storm tyres are getting great reviews aswell
