I've got one of these because it has a dipstick which means checking the oil level is easier than using the stupid oil viewing tube on the other side of the bike. But I stopped using it because the metal used is pretty soft and after a while the allen head was loosing it's shape and it was pretty much impossible to unscrew without rounding it off any more.

For me at least the horrible orange anodising was hidden behind tank panel!

Yes, and also the 'o' ring didn't seal so it leaked oil out until I replaced it with a new, bigger diameter ring. Once spent a whole Sunday ride out with Klinky and Shade just looking for a Halfords to find one before the whole right hand side of the bike was covered in oil blown out past the seal.

Altogether not a really good product. But a good idea to have a dipstick - like every other bike on the planet!
I don't get how a dipstick is any better than oil sight tube. You have to level the bike for both and keep pouring oil till you reach the right level for both.
With a dip stick you can fill and check from the same side instead of running round the bike three or four times a top-up.

How's your post op recovery going mate? You out of hospital yet?
Nah in till at least Friday m8. Still only on sips of water with drain in me so so gutted about Crashfest
